Well...I finally decided to ditch the stock front bumper. I went to my local 4wheelparts store and bought a new Rock Hard front bumper with angled hoop on it. 4Wheel Parts has a 20% off coupon right now, so that was a nice little discount. I also got the integrated steering box skid while I was there... Now I've just got to wait for it to show up.

You made a good choice getting the winch hoop. Mine saved my winch when I let a friends wife drive my Jeep and she propelled it into the guy in front of me. Saved my winch though! Oh yea, don't let anyone drive your junk! The insurance follows the vehicle so I got the credit for the accident. Enjoy the new bumper and drive careful.

Great choice... I love the Rock Hard bumper I got... I got the angled hoop with the side hoop extentions.

Yep, I'm excited to get it. The style of it looks to be a very close match with my Jeeperman trail skidz (rocker protection) and rear bumper/tire carrier. It'll be nice to ditch those tiny little stock tow hooks in the front for something with a little more "beef" to it. Plus it looks like the built in winch plate will be a bit of weight savings over having the big Warn winch plate AND a heavier bumper up there.
Next step will be either the Currie Anti-Rock or Skyjacker Rock Lock swaybar system. My Jeep is really starting to earn its "Trail Rated" status!

Bumper showed up last night.... snow in the forecast this weekend, so I may not be getting a chance to do the install for another week or so. I can't wait to get it on the Jeep!
