So I added a 1.25" bl and bmml earlier this year when I added my 33" tires. Ever since then I have been having trouble getting the T-case linkage right. I think also that it being out of adjustment is causing a vibration at highway speed.
Can someone please post instructions on how to properly adjust this?
How do I know when its right, or is it trial and error?
I think its causing the vibration since I adjusted it last night, and the vibration came at a different speed than usual.
I find now, that where I used to pull it into 4Hi, if I pull it in the same position, it goes past 4hi, and into N, and when its in 2Hi, the lever is all the way down, and seems to be bringing up in something since there is no play at all in the lever.
Any help would be great!!
Thanks

We put a JKS BL on the son in laws Rubi. It came with a small relocation bracket that moved the shift lever back to the stock position. When you raise the body up an inch the console becomes a problem. The bracket only goes on one way and returns everything back to stock. Do you have that bracket and still have problems? Or did your BL come with just the spacers?

I have the bracket, but never installed it since the insrtructions said if I was doing the MML at the same time it wasn't necessary. I have the budget MML. anyway, maybe I still need it. The BL was a JKS 1.25"

I would say, put the bracket on. It was only about a 15 minute job. See if it solves the problem. I can't see what the MML has to do with this issue. When you move the body up 1.25" the transfer case shifter is 1.25" lower then stock. That causes the shifter to not travel all the way forward and back.

Could be, but doesn't the MML lift the t-case back up to roughly the same location in relation to the body. You're right though, its only a 15 minute job, so when the rain stops, I'll give it a try.
Moneypit, do you have the MML???

No I don't have a MML. Nothing at the transfer case gets moved. I think you will solve your problem with the bracket. Let us know what happens.

So I ordered this bracket....its excellent. Immediate improvement....well worth the money. Solved the problem. I still have vibration since I installed the MMl though. That's for another thread though.
