I wanted to know why my steering feels loose this just happend, it used be alot more tight. Would a new more beefy Tie rod help or is there anything else i can do. thank you.  |

Are you running a stock steering stabilizer with oversize tires? Larger tires seem to like a larger steering stabilizer as well. Also check that your track bar is tight.

I run a rancho steering stabilizer, I also did check the track bar and it was tight. Is there anything else i can check.

I was thinking the same things as MONEYPit, but I guess and front suspension or steering parts may cause that feeling. I find mine the same, but everytime I check everything its all tight.
Try your control arm bolts, or check for worn swaybar links

I guess we just have to get used to it. I mean when i hit bumps or pot holes the jeep does not jerk around.

I would say you're right. To me its not unsafe, just not tight.
