Hi everyone. Haven't posted for a while, but have been lurking a bit. We bought a new house and are now renovating.
Anyway, I recently installed the JKS 1.25" bl and budget mml. I have a few questions for those that have done this same mod.
!. Did any of you loosen the bolts holding the transmission to the skidplate? Do I need to??
2. I have a 2" BB, and was thinking about the tummy tucker, I was wondfering that now that I have teh BL and MML, am I safe to do teh tummy tuck, or do I need more mods?
Thanks

Hey there. Recently did this on mine. JKS for both as well here. I did loosen up the bolts to the tranny skid as it was suggested by Dirk at DPG (where I got the lift kit from) and a couple of write ups that I found. I noticed the transfer case shift forward about 1/4 - 1/2" after the MML. Based on what I saw and the recommendations from others, I'd definitely recommend loosen them up and retorquing to specs to reduce binding on the drive train.
As for the tummy tucker?? I have no idea....sorry. Sure someone else has experience there.

What comments that follow are not based on personal experience, since I've not yet done the TT.
I have been interested in this mod for some time, and have been reading on others experiences in various forums. I believe you have not lifted your LJ enough to introduce vibes with the TT. I have seen people with LJ's and 4" of lift have to install the SYE, CV driveshaft, and adjustable control arms with the TT. If you are talking about the Nth Degree TT, you should be good to go, if the 2" of lift in your signature is accurate. I have seen a few folks complain about exhaust mods necessary with the Teraflex belly-up.
Be sure to post some pictures after you are done. A flat skid under a Wrangler is like woman with really slender abs. It just looks good.
