I found a Currie Anit-Rock Sway bar on ebay for $285 ordered it on Monday, arrives at the house on Thursday (pretty quick). ok, like a kid on Christmas I had to start on it as soon as I got home from work, so I started tonight around 10pm so no pics but all I've done so far is take off the bumper (which is only held in place by 6 bolts) and the fog lights. I hit the old sway bar bolts with some penetrating lube and I'll let it sit all night. Tomorrow I'll get back on it in the morning, take some photos and post it up here.

ok so I finished the install & here are the pics: Took off the bumper: Took off the OEM sway bar and old connects: Installed the white donuts and the bar: Next came the arms and the connects: Finally the sticker

It's actually very easy, and I'm not that mechanically inclined.. To take off your bumper all you need it a 55 torx bit and 6 bolts later it's off. The only hard part was getting the white donuts lined up to "tap" them in as the instructions say, but I had to hit harder than a tap.

So how does it ride? In just about every thread I have read about it there are mixed reviews.
I have to say that I have thought about getting one once or twice, but was cautious while it is still my daily driver.

To be honest, I drove it both on the freeway and on the streets and all I've noticed is a little more body roll, but nothing really that bad. Also I have set to the 2nd to last setting for towards off road conditions. The drive is pretty close to stock, but I haven't tried it on the trail yet.

Very cool. Can't wait to hear a trail report on it!! I almost bought the anti-rock instead of my swabar quick disco's... but I was afraid that with all the towing I do (hauling my quads all over the place) that I didn't want extra body roll with all the "pushing" my trailer does.

However, offroad is where you will really appreciate it! Basically the Anti-Rock allows the front & rear sway bars to work together. It keeps the Jeep somewhat more stable in side hill or off-camber situations. For the " little" amount of body roll it allowed on road, it was by far one of the best mods I had done on my old TJ. I think the only thing better would be the Swayloc by ORO. The Swayloc allows the onroad stability of a stock swaybar and the offroad ability of an antirock.

Is the SwayLoc the one that disconnects by an electric switch? I've heard about it and was considering it, but I don't think my technical skill is up there enough to start fooling around with electrical stuff.
