i was wondering if any one has attempted this lift on a lj sport? if so did you sye or not. I would like to try this lift, but don't really want to do the sye. thanks for your responses in advance.

I haven't done it, but my hunch is that you will need the SYE. The extended drive shaft will keep you from wobbling at 2", possibly even at 3", but 4" is pushing it.
Maybe somebody else will say otherwise...

I might also post this question over @ ROF. I'm sure there are some LJ owners who are running the RE 4.5" on an LJ.
And remember the RE 4.5" is more like 5"-5.5".....

I have the 4.5" SF. and had to use a SYE/CV with mine. I had a slight vibration at take off and above 55MPH. I have heard of some that didn't need it though.

did you try the tc drop to fix vibes, or just go straight to a sye? Yes. I ran the transfercase drop for about 10 months while I saved money for the SYC/CV. It had no vibes with the TC drop.
