I made the second mod to the relay, and it works great. Oddly enough, the first piece of plastic wasn't thick enough and didn't work. When I added a second piece, it worked.

OK...mod is done, I love the results, and it only took me 20 minutes...mostly because I had to look around for two screwdrivers. I used the plastic approach. Maybe tomorrow I will brighten the fogs.

For those of your still on the fence...I took some pics after I got home from work tonight. Low beams only: Low beams with fogs: High beams with fogs: It is much more evident when actually driving, because you can see just how far the brights reach, and you still have the bright light in the peripherals...I haven't taken the little doo-hickeys out of the fogs yet either, and I love how much brighter everything is with just the Fog lamp relay mod.
