I've got one, and I must say that I like it. I'm in Chicago and the weather changes very quickly, so it's nice to know the windows are right back there. The roll doesn't block your view. Also, the windows are with you instead of somewhere they may get scratched.
The side windows fit just fine, but the part where the zipper starts may stick out an inch or so from the roll. when encased in the nylon bag, it's all covered up.
The only gripe I have with it is getting the side windows on after having them rolled up for a few days in the heat. the plastic lip that hooks onto the door surround gets temporarily warped and it can become a pain if doing it by yourself in inclement weather. they straighten up just fine after their stretched in position for a few hours. I would recommend it.
If you or someone you know is handy with a needle/thread or sewing machin - it's pretty easy to make and you'd save yourself some cash, but isn't spending buttloads of money what jeeps are all about?

I just got my camera back from canon repair, so i'll take some pics of it not in use (it's supposed to rain today). I'll take the measurements too. another complaint - it looks like the straps to secure it to the jeep aren't all that secure - I'd suggest getting some bungees and securing it a little better if you're going higher speeds (for those of you who have it).
hopefully I can get those things posted on the board later today

Order one - you will be more then pleased with it. The problem with making one at home is finding a nylon bag that you can store them in and that you can attach to your roll bar - sewing the felt together is the easy part. The only problem I ran into was the negative velcro on the straps that go around the felt once you roll up the windows didn't line up nice and snug with the positive section - I fixed that by having the wife sew on a section of velcro that essentially covers the strap - this way it will always match up regardless of how tight or loose the window is rolled.

I have the window roll and love it. I place the side windows at a slight angle and they fit perfect. The straps that secure it to the roll bar should be tucked away so they don't come loose. I check mine once in awhile anyway. It is nice to know that if it rains the windows are handy.
