I know I've been posting like crazy on this board, but give me a break guys - it's my first jeep. My brother just put a chip in my hardtop (it was on the car for about 6 hours total, then hanging from the raftors in the garage). needless to say, I'm PISSED. Emotions aside, should I just nailpolish the chip to make it look uniform or should I bondo or resin it?
The chip is about dime sized, right in the front above the windshield shackle on the exterior lip.

Sorry about the chip....But it's a Jeep. It is supposed to be used. Tell everyone it's trail damage and let it go at that. It will drive you nuts if you worry about all the little scatches you get. I know it's hard when it is brand new but soon enough you will hit or run over something and add to your trail damage. Kick your brother in the ASS a couple of times and make him wax your jeep a few times to pinish him. All kidding aside. I doubt you will be able to fix it and keep bondo or resin to stick well. Also as you sand it smooth the repair area gets larger. Then you have a larger spot to try and blend in with paint. I think you will draw more attention to it.
