Hi Everyone...... Im new here...... Just picked up a clean 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with 2,200 miles on it and I love it!!!!! Black with the chrome Tobe Fenders front and back, chrome running boards and tailite covers(chrome as well. Traded in a Honda CRV which I owned for only 2 weeks. I hated it. While it ran well, it just did nothing for me . I am so proud to be a Jeep owner. While driving home from the dealership I got a few waves already.... IM excited!!!!! and glad to be here! Rich

You are going to love it. If this is your first Jeep, as ours was when we got it last October, prepare to be amazed about what that beast can do offroad. I've climbed stuff other jeepers told me I needed lockers for. I've crawled right over obstacles that other rigs (with 8" lift, 37" tires, V8) struggled with. None of this is due to the driver. Just beware, if you catch the offroad bug (as we have) say goodbye to your spare change. As good as your rig is stock, it can do everything but fly with some extras (lockers, armor, etc).
Also be prepared for a ration of crap over the chrome. For some, it will be like driving through Transylvania with garlic bumpers. But if you like it, screw 'em.
Post some pictures, if you get the chance. And welcome aboard.

Thanks so much Tim. Actually, this is my second Jeep. Had a 1995 Wrangler S that got stolen and was never re-couped. That too was a fun piece of art as well. My Jeep came with chrome everything and since I am the second owner, im just wondering if the running boards, tailite covers, chrome grille and bumbers were all stock on this vehicle? IM so glad I got it as I feel that the 2007 model year wrangler body styles could be making dramatic changes. Im glad I got a wrangler now. And to be honest, im lucky to have gotten it. My delership had only (2) 2005's X's on the lot left and they were both stick. My choice was the Unlimited . 20k out the door for the 2004 with 2,200 miles, clean as a whistle. Now I have 2 mortgages... haha

Congrats on your excellent purchase! I bought my red unlimited last fall and drive it everywhere. I put black tube bumpers on the front and back, along with black tube side rails. I like the black/red look. I took the hard top off for the summer and it is a blast to drive, especially at night on country roads and off road in the Idaho mountains. Lots of fun! Ridge

Thanks Ridge... Yeah, I love it. Do you have a pic of yours? Mine came with the chrome tube bumpers front and back with the chrome running boards. All jeep. Mine is black. Rich
