Is anyone running the original shocks with the 2" BB
If so, any problems?
Has anyone tried it, and not have it work???
My friend with a SWB rubicon is running it with no problems.
Thanks

If you just want a little lift for looks or a bigger tire the 2" with stock shocks will prolly work. By adding the spacer though you are going to take travel out of the shock which wouldnt be beneficial for offroad. Dont be surprised if your shocks top out while daily driving though. If you are on a budget get the spacers first and start saving for shocks. The shocks will cost more than the spacers. If it was my jeep I would just spend the $220 for the RE BB with shocks.

Actually, I already have the 2" BB, with longer shocks inteh rear. The problem is that when the dealer installed teh BB, they put in longer shocks in teh rear, and they were noname ones, and they are rusted to death, and leaking a little oil.
I have original rubicon shocks that are brand new that I could put back in , but was wondering if they would fit, and so on
Thanks BTW.

Did the dealer do it before you bought it. If so I would take it in for warranty. If they put it on before you bought it they should have to get you new ones under warranty.

They only had 90 days warranty. The ride is nice, but I thought the oem's would be a little better, since they were designed for my rig.
I think I will take one out and measure.
Thanks
