I have the JKS quick disconnects. I was out today greasing the LJ and going over everything before I leave for the Jeep Jamboree in Mo. on thursday. I grease the fittings on the discos and the grease bleeds back out after I remove the gun. They came with little red caps that cover the fitting but 3 of the 4 have fallen off. Well I think I have a bad fitting so I try to take the fitting off. The fitting just spins it won't come off. There is no ball in the fitting like regular Zierk fittings have to keep the grease from coming back out. Has anyone else had this happen?

Never had the issue with the zerk like you are describing? So when you tried to unscrew the zerk fitting, it just spun? & wouldn't come out? That sucks... Die grind that thing off, screw extract the remnant of the zerk, and thread in new zerk, (retap if necessary...). Problem solved. Or call JKS and see if they can next-day you some new pieces or possibly new discos!? ryan

Maybe this is the way they make them. I took a paper clip and put it in the fill hole of the zerk and it goes right in. Do yours work this way to? The fitting just spins so I did not want to break it. I thought I would try the board before contacting JKS.

Well I emailed JKS and asked them whats up. The zerks are press in type and they have no ball fitting. They intend for grease to be able to go both ways for some reason. But Jim there, did offer to send me some new caps to cover the zerk, which was cool.
