Anyone know the ft-lbs to torque the rear bumper on with?
I've got a newly-fabbed bumper with paint drying downstairs and I'm looking to put it on in the near future. The bumper is 60lbs., so I suppose I'm asking if anyone has a similiarly-sized aftermarket bumper and what was specified for it?
Thanks

I put on a Hansen front bumper and winch. My directions from them was to tighten the crap out of them. I don't think you need to torque them to anything specific, like you do suspension parts.

I will have to agree with moneypit I have added front and rear bumpers to my LJ and a winch on the front. I used grade 8 bolts six on the front and eight on the rear both bumpers have a 2in receiver and I have had no problems when using the winch or pulling with the rear bumper just tighten down until they won't go go more ;D

Yeah, "tighten the crap out of 'em" was the fallback plan. LOL
