Anybody know why there are 2 differing types of windows on the unlimiteds? I have an 05 with full side windows with NO divider. I have seen many 05's with a divided side window with a strip of canvas located where the bar would rub against the window. Was this an update or merely a different maker?

It was an upgrade for the '05 models to keep the bars from rubbing on the windows.

hummmm - mines an 05 and I don't have them. I wonder if I complain to service whether they'll replace them?

I think these were added in February/March time-frame. Mine was built in January '05 and doesn't have them.

Just got back from the dealer who took pics of the window scratches and marks and they got Jeep to spring for new updated windows and there are some new coverings for the top frame on 2006's that they are getting also. They couldn't tell me anymore about it than that, but Jeep ok'ed it. They are also going to try to get me a new top since they feel this one wasn't made correctly. Fine by me.
