Anyone have input on this?
This would be a great spot on this site to put up OHV petitions, notification on local/state/federal hearings etc...
I know that I've posted a few things from ARRA and Blue Ribbon Coalition (BRC) recently. And I remember a thread a while back about saving Paragon.
With the upcoming elections pending and our access to lands being taken away by politicians with pressure from special interests like Sierra Club and other "Green" organizations, we need to make our voices heard and fight for open access public lands.
I know that some of us are members of TREAD Lightly, BRC, UFWDA and other great organizations that actively promote the responsible use of lands. We probably get this information...yet others may not.
Forming a seperate section would also keep these posts localized so that these important issues may be more "visible" when a new conversation is started. Not to say that other threads aren't important, informational or entertaining... but these posts may fall inbetween things and get overlooked.
Maybe I'm off my rocker. Any thoughts?
