Has anybody found a rear bumper that wraps all the way around to the rear tire protecting the full rear 1/4 panel? The ones by OR fab fit the swb/lwb it says. well, the lwb goes another 5" (?) past where the swb does so how could it fit the lwb and the swb?

Thats what I'm looking for but $500 is pretty steep.

Yep...$500 is a bit much... I live within 15 minutes of Steve's Jeep Fab. He makes/sells some nice bumpers for a good price, and says that he will do custom work too. I may see what it takes for him to make me one similar to this. He makes a tire carrier too, that is a lot less expensive than the Big Daddy stuff.... I'll get one this Winter (when I'm bored and need a project)....I'd like to see other companies making this style of bumper.

I would definitely recommend that style of rear bumper. It protects allot more then some others.
I have been looking at that same bumper because of the extra protection.
If you have someone that fabs then give them a pic. Should not b that hard to make. The finish is what I would be worried about. Rust and stuff.

www.stevesjeepfab.comHere's an example of his standard rear bumper and tire carrier that he makes. If I can get him to do the wrap around, and have the wrap around portion tie back into the frame...that would be a STOUT bumper.

Another option I have found is in the MOPAR accessory book. There are some corner guards in there with a rub rail up top. But I can't really tell from the pictures in the catalog if it wraps up under the tub or not. If it does then this would also be an option

Not trying to bust on anyone BUT...I have owned a stevesjeepfab bumper and it is not worth the money! Pay the extra dollars for the bigdaddy one and be done with it.
