I have done alot of research into the spacer issuse and some hate them and some love them. It's all your choice, if you do go with the spacers everyone recommends these: www.quadratec.com/sb/spidertrax/wheel_spacers.htm. But IMO just get 4 steelies at the same price wth the correct backspacing then you will not have to worry about the spacer issue at the tire shops. I like the security of a tire waranty and just driving in and letting the shop handle the rotation etc. Guess since I do most of the work on my LJ, having someone else do something is wonderful.

Went to Big Bear yesterday and trailing in the snow is always fun. Took the wife and some of her faimly, they had never been in snow before or out in a Jeep. That was cool watching them. Anyway, the card in the camera took a dive and we could only take a couple of pics, I was limited to only one DANG. The point is that we came across a stretch of trail that was VERY muddy and had a few large puddles in it. A few of the Jeeps that were there first did not cross because of the A/T's they were running. I had never tried driving through that much mud before and went for it. The M/T's (+4 low) pulled me through like a champ, ruts, ditches and all. This thing still surprises me in it's capabilities. I am still going to get the BFG A/T's, but wonder about just running the M/T's cause of situations like this.
