I just got my '08 4-door JK with the hard top and was wondering if anyone has advice on a reliable soft top for it? I've checked magazines but first hand advice is much better.

While i've got no practical experience with the JK's, I'd only buy a Bestop brand top for my Jeeps.
I've had Bestop's for my YJ & TJ and have never had any problems. Although they won't officially say it, I'm 99.9% sure that Bestop is the OEM supplier.

If it's anything like the 04-06 tops they are not available from any secondary sources yet. While I believe those tops were made by Bestop Jeep had an agreement that Bestop could not sell them for a few years. Got this from my salesman, so who knows. But I have never seen them so he may be right. I bought mine off of Ebay at a huge savings over the dealer price. Some guys buy the dual tops and sell off the one they don't think they will use. I'd look that direction....good luck!

Check the for sale forum on midwestjeepthing.com. You can go there as a guest or get a free online membership. I've seen at least one on there during the last few months.
