For all of you who like Chrome

Call me a Mall Cruzer at heart, but I love my Chrome Grille. I just had a neat idea. As I am looking out the window I can see my Unlimited parked in the P. lot and I have a grass median in front of the jeep. The grass is still somewhat blonde is causing a Gold reflection in the Grill. WOW a gold grill. now would that just be a great "Bling" to have.

I don't know about the gold chrome grill cover. But I will come out of the closet and admit that I like my chrome grill cover too. WOW! I feel so liberated now!!

My unlimited is black and I think the gold would go very nice. Just have to get up enough nerve to try and paint it. dont know if I can. There are a lot of us out there that like Chrome, dont feel bad. I'ts all what you are into. Some like tricked out Rigs, others like Mall Crawlers. We put enough money into our rigs to express our opinions. Personally as a Mall Cruzer myself, I have a HUGE respect for the tricked out Rigs. I think any Jeep is cool.... even the 07s

Yeah, gold is not for me but I think it would look OK. I would have to find a picture but the new Golden Eagle package for the 06 Wranglers might give you an idea.

I always thought a polished bronze grille would look awesome... no reason gold wouldnt either Your jeep, do what u want.

chrome is pretty nice, i was even thinking of buying all the chrome hardware for my jeep,gold would be kinda of cool to.
i have chrome bumpers on my rig,wonder what it would look like with a chrome grill on it or even gold hmmm. but for me i like the monochromatic approach.
I've have seen chrome inserts on some jeeps, and i think it looks cool.I'm thinking of going with that style. but really is there such a thing as color chrome
like blue chrome or green or red."anodized" is that the word I'm looking for.
does the stuff exist.............blue chrome sweeeeeeet .you know to go with my patriot blue paint job of coarse........

I do have chrome wheels, and I like them. I got flamed on another board for it to. But I don't care. I am from the chrome era. I do have a chrome overlay grill for sale if anyone wants it. This is why I like this board, you can say you like chrome and you don't get arrows shot at you from every direction. Some guys say "Chrome don't get ya home" and I say "Black won't get ya back". Same thing just personal preferance. Make your rig suit you and the h*ll with the nay sayers.

I just dont get the chrome wheels casue they would get messed up. Got the black wagon wheels for $35 a peice and touch'em up with the rattle can after every trip.

I like the way black looks on Jeeps, but when it came to wheels, I had to get chrome. Everything else stays black though.

Same wheels I'm running... AR Outlaw II. Not really chrome, but a machined finish on aluminum. Plenty shiny when new... they can get crappy if neglected.

They have kind of an old school look... my buddy just got a set of the same wheels for his '69 Early Bronco...

I like Chrome on an old Muscle Car...I like stuff on my Jeep to be mostly black...or a muddy sort of brown.

Although the combo of my black jeep and a gold grille would go well in this twon.
