Hey folks, Hyper here (or call me Tim) I've had an '04 Unlimited for about 2 years now. Before the Jeep I had a couple GMC Jimmy's that I'd occasionally take offroad, but this thing beats them hands down!!! I'm getting ready to install a BB. Looking at a 2.5" kit right now, because of this... Money is tight with being layed off since February. The other forums I'm on seem to be mostly SWB Jeeps. Hope I can find better info here. See ya on the board, and maybe on the trails....

Welcome to the board. Maybe a good skid plate would be a good start. You must have some good luck to beat that thing up so much without and real damage.

Sorry C-Dogg. Been awhile since I stopped in here. I'm from Western PA. About 30 miles North of Pittsburgh.
Yeah Moneypit, kinda lucky it didn't punch a hole in the pan or get too close to the oil pick-up. I was on trails a bit tougher than what the Jeep shoulda been on w/o any lift. Getting that fixed this weekend with a 2.25" BB and some 32's!!

Welcome - I ran a similar set up on my 05 for years - 2"BB with 32" BFG AT's along with wheel spacers to offset the rims farther out - when those wore out I switched over to a set of Wrangler 31"s - so far they have been great and none of the rubbing I had with the 32's. Did you get your set up installed?
