I am getting re-stationed to Fort Knox, KY in July and looking for all the Kentucky jeepers out there. Any one around? Any one down for some KY fun? (to quote a past thread)

Yeah, still working on that one with the wife. On the other hand, the only Kentucky Jeeper I saw on the site had a red stick pin. I am not biased against that at all, but I was thinking about how to tell the wife, "Hey, I am going wheeling with this other Jeep chick for the day, be home for dinner!"

Easier said than done unfortunitely it seems. I mean I'm down, I think the best bet is to put up a date way ahead of time. Maybe put up a poll or something. See who replies, and get it together. Maybe that'll work. We need to all meet in the middle to ease some of the traveling of some jeepers.

My pin will be moving in mid July, along with me, my wife, my kids, and all of our stuff, jeep included. Current rumor is we'll be moving to Campti, Louisiana. That could change but either way, I'll be moving from this no-dirt-road-infested city. If Louisiana doesn't pan out we'll likely head back to Tennessee.
Now that I'm done rambling, I'd love to get together with some LJ owners. I'd need heaps of notice so I could figure out what's going on with my schedule though.

(to quote a past thread) Knox is a pretty decent spot to get stationed. There are some really great resaurants in Louisville, and you get a reprieve from the possibility of deployment for a couple of years.

Just updated my location to where I will be moving in less than 3 weeks. Plenty more wheeling opportunities in rural SC than there are in urban GA.
