hey bud, how are you fairing down there? Hopefully you were far enough north of from where all the Katrina damage took place..

We fared alright, Jackson is 160 miles north of the beach and on the leeward side of the wind, we had some tree damage and lost power for 4 days but other than that all is good here, now 40 miles south of us is a totally different story, looks like a bomb went off in places. Still having problems with gas distribution, so driving the 10MPG XJ has been a little trying. hey bud, how are you fairing down there? Hopefully you were far enough north of from where all the Katrina damage took place..

Morattico, Virginia in the Northern Neck, near absolutely nothing! 1 1/2 hours to a city, 200 feet from the Rappahannock River. The 3 dogs do like the river. And a 2005 Jeep - my first one. I'm still trying to figure out why it took me so long to see the light!
