We fared alright, Jackson is 160 miles north of the beach and on the leeward side of the wind, we had some tree damage and lost power for 4 days but other than that all is good here, now 40 miles south of us is a totally different story, looks like a bomb went off in places. Still having problems with gas distribution, so driving the 10MPG XJ has been a little trying. hey bud, how are you fairing down there? Hopefully you were far enough north of from where all the Katrina damage took place.. |

Morattico, Virginia in the Northern Neck, near absolutely nothing!
1 1/2 hours to a city, 200 feet from the Rappahannock River.
The 3 dogs do like the river.
And a 2005 Jeep - my first one. I'm still trying to figure out why it took me so long to see the light!
