Yes - those would be easier if you don't take the doors off often or don't put on full soft-doors. I have a set of full soft doors (2 halves) and those clips would hinder the door closing.
Once the switch is installed, it is REAL easy to switch on and off and doesn't have any loose parts that require storage.
Heck, pulling the fuse is free. Until I made the switch I put a piece of tape on the fuse to make it easier to pull out.

I used 1/4" spade connectors and just filed them down to fit in the fuse box. If you can find 3/16" spade connectors, don't waste your time and money. They are too thin to stay in the box. I just used crimp connectors for everything. Mine is on my third Jeep with no problems. Now if my wife could just keep from bumping the switch, all would be good.
